D5550 Wideband RF Downconverter/Tuner

Measure & monitor wideband signals up to 160 MHz bandwidth through the new Wideband IQ (WBIQ)

TEST, MEASURE & MONITOR WIDEBAND SIGNALS UP TO 160 MHz WITH thinkRF D5550

The thinkRF D5550 offers a cost-effective platform for test, measurement and monitoring of wideband signals up to 160 MHz bandwidth through the new Wideband IQ (WBIQ) options.

Wide Frequency Range

The thinkRF D5550 Wideband RF Downconverter/Tuner supports frequency ranges from 50 MHz up to 8 GHz / 27 GHz which enables testing of modern systems including tests such as third-order intercept.

WBIQ Wideband Option*

Analyze today’s complex signals with up to 160 MHz direction conversion (0 Hz IF) I and Q analogue ports on the WBIQ model. The wideband version is engineered for analyzing wideband digital communications such as 3G / 4G / LTE, WiFi, or general Vector Signal Analysis (VSA) applications involving broadband signals.

*Radio receiver front-end support for 80 MHz Super-Heterodyne and 160 MHz Zero-IF RTBW. The RTBW of 80 or 160 MHz is accessed via Analog IQ out only. The internal digitizer remains at 125 MSa/s. An external dual-channel digitizer with each channel sampling at 250 MSa/s is required for WBIQ variants, silent, fanless

Extend range up to 27 GHz RF Downconverter

The thinkRF D5550 Wideband RF Downconverter/Tuner can extend the range of existing spectrum analysis up to 27 GHz. It can be employed as wideband downconverters featuring a single RF input and three standard software selectable IF bandwidths – 10 MHz, 40 MHz, 100 MHz, or three optional software selectable IF bandwidths, 10 MHz, 80 MHz, 160 MHz. The carrier centre frequencies can be tuned from 50 MHz to 27 GHz, including direct digitization below 50 MHz down to 9 kHz.

APIs & Protocols Proven Integrations

thinkRF and its application ecosystem helps developers, engineers, and program manager see the full picture in complex spectrum environment. thinkRF has a wide variety of application partners depending on your requirements.
